Vonceil Bell Fleck "Bonnie" passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014, in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. She was born in Shubuta, Miss., on April 23, 1926, to Oscar and Maude Bell.

She married her husband, Thomas Fleck, in 1947. After many assignments including Alaska, Venezuela and Washington, D.C., they later moved to Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Bonnie and Tom loved hunting and traveled extensively to enjoy this hobby together, including Alaska, Western States, and Maryland. She also loved fishing and playing golf.
Bonnie was a volunteer at the Eglin Pharmacy for 17 years, and also was a faithful member of the Eglin Chapel.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Leonard and Maude (Hawkins) Bell; sister, Joe Ann Ogle; and brother, Charles R. Bell.
Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Thomas A. Fleck; brother, Col. Jimmie E. Bell; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Rd. NE, Fort Walton Beach, from 11 to 12 p.m., followed by a service at 12 p.m. Committal service will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Fla.
Bonnie was a "ray of sunshine" and was loved by all who knew her. Her sparkling personality will be greatly missed.
