Jimmy passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014, at his home after a long battle with brain cancer.

He was surrounded by people who loved him and his loyal cat Freddie.
Jimmy spent his entire life in the Fort Walton Beach, Fla., area and worked as a mechanic in several shops before he opened his own shop, Cutting Edge Automotive. He was a dedicated business man and was respected for his knowledge and honest business practice.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, James Carson Boswell Sr. Jimmy is survived by his mother and stepfather, June and Charles Brown of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Audrey Berry (Chuck) of Oxford, Mich., Lynn Duke (Tom) of Fort Walton Beach, Vicki Gamble (Richard) of Atlanta; nieces, Melanie Imlay, Jamie Waldrup and Kim Campbell; nephews, Kris Roberts, Tim Berry, Trey Ellison and Jordan Gamble; his loving companion, Denise Robbins of Fort Walton Beach. Jimmy is also survived by his business partners and friends, Les Moorer and Wolf Palmer.
A celebration of Jimmy's life will be held Sunday, May 25, 2014, at Liza Jackson Park, 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to the
