Frances Margaret (Peggy) Green Dyson passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, July 12, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of W.F. and Margaret S. Green of Argyle, Florida, and a longtime resident of Fairhope, Alabama.

She is survived by her children, Mary D. Allison and her husband Brian; Margaret D. Edgar and her husband Drew; and David S. Dyson, and by her husband of 40 years, Philip Porter Dyson of Fairhope, Alabama.
She is also survived by her mother, Margaret S. Green, and siblings William H. Green and his wife Suzy; Elizabeth G. Yates and her husband Tommy; and David W. Green and his wife Rebecca, all of Argyle, Florida; and Nancy G. Peaden and her husband Durell, of Crestview and Tallahassee, Florida.
Peggy was a lifelong member of Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church in Walton County, Florida. She graduated from Walton High School in 1966 and was awarded bachelor's and master's degrees by the University of West Florida. She taught upper school sciences at the Organic School and Bayside Academy in Baldwin County, Alabama, for over 25 years, and spent many years as a volunteer at numerous municipal and civic organizations.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church at 5551 County Highway 183 South, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435 with Reverends John Erthein and Durl Odom officiating.
Burial will follow in the Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Floral arrangements are being accepted.
