Mrs. Agnes Vaughan Gomillion, age 88, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014. She was born January 22, 1926, in Geneva, Ala. to David Oscar and Mildred Elsie Powell Stafford.

Mrs. Gomillion was a resident of Red Bay, Fla. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Red Bay Baptist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter #115 DeFuniak Springs, Fla. for over 50 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked with the Walton County Home Extension as a dietary aid for several years.
Mrs. Gomillion was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Casper "Cap" Vaughan, second husband Ed Gomillion, three brothers Leo "Buddy" Stafford, Gene "Pete" Stafford, and Billy Ray Stafford and one sister Pauline Byrd.
Mrs. Gomillion is survived by two sons, Ronnie Vaughan and wife Pat, Derek Vaughan and wife Cathy both of Red Bay, one brother Jerry Stafford and wife Gwen of DeFuniak Springs, one sister Belle Kelley of Yorktown, Va., one sister-in-law Betty Stafford of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., two grandchildren Heather Vaughan of Orlando, Fla., Kegan Vaughan of Red Bay, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by several special friends of Red Bay.
Visitation services will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, July 18, 2014, at Red Bay Baptist Church, 9738 Rock Hill Rd, Ponce De Leon, FL 32455, with Reverends Rodney Infinger, Durl Odom and Henry Martin officiating.
Burial will follow at Red Bay Cemetery.
Floral arrangements are being accepted.
