Karl Dale Kershaw, 69, of Mary Esther, Fla., passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2014. Karl was a proud member of the United States Air Force from which he retired after 28 years of service.
Karl is survived by his wife, Junko (Kunitomo) Kershaw; his two sons, Donnie and his wife Laurie of Tallahassee, Fla., Ronnie Kershaw of Mary Esther, his four sisters Jeannie (Stepp) Pistilli of Fletcher, N.C., Kathy (Stepp) McDonald and her husband Chuck of Hendersonville, N.C., Tammy (Stepp) Jackson and her husband John of North Fort Myers and Patty (Stepp) and her husband Gene, and three grandchildren Austin, Akina, and Isabelle of Tallahassee, Fla., as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other friends.
Karl was preceded in death by his parents June (Edney) Stepp and Donald Kershaw, his stepfather Eugene Stepp and three brothers Ron Kershaw, Boe Stepp, and Ricky Stepp.
The family will receive friends at the service on Saturday, July 26, 2014, beginning at 1 p.m., at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Rd. NE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Timberwolves Baseball Boosters, 2910 Kerry Forest Pkwy D4-135, Tallahassee, FL 32309 in memory of Karl Dale Kershaw for Austin Kershaw.
