Mr. Walker Green, age 91, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014. He was born November 12, 1922, in Argyle, Fla. to Walker and Nannie Bell Green.
Mr. Green was a lifelong resident of Walton County. He was Presbyterian and a lifelong member of the Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church. He was a World War II veteran serving his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Florida Bar for over 50 years. He was also a member of DeFuniak Springs Masonic Lodge # 170 F & AM.
Mr. Green was preceded in death by his parents, his brother W.F. Green, his sister Mary Green and his niece Peggy Green Dyson.
Mr. Green is survived by his sister-in-law Margaret Green of Argyle, his nephews and nieces, William H. Green and wife Suzy of Argyle, Beth Yates and husband Tommy of Argyle, David Green and wife Rebecca of Argyle, and Nancy Peaden and husband Durell of Crestview, his nephew-in-law Phil Dyson of Fairhope, Ala., as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at the Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church, 5551 County Highway 183 South, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at the Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church with Reverends John Erthein, Durl Odom and Bill Bricker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Floral arrangements are being accepted.
