Mr. Lee Everett Iferd, retired United States Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, passed way Aug. 3, 2014 in Panama City, Fla. Lee was born on Oct. 27, 1944, in Sheffield, England, but grew up in Middletown, Md. He served 30 years in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1992. He later worked as maintenance superintendent for the city of Mary Esther, Fla. He is survived by two sons, Dennis lferd of Shalimar, Fla. and Kevin Iferd and his wife, Kim and two granddaughters, Madison and Jordan, of Panama City, Fla. He is also survived by two brothers, Frank lferd (Treva) of Emmitsburg, Md. and Donald lferd (Nadine) of Southport, Fla. and a stepbrother, Jerry Ridenour, of Emmitsburg, Md. In addition, he leaves behind nephews, Dennis Iferd (wife Julie and their children Luke and Elizabeth), Frank lferd and Brian White. Lee was an avid bowler and a lifelong fisherman, spending much of his free time on the water. He was an incredible man, a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, and a loyal friend to many. A memorial service will be held at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road, Northeast, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547 at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug, 9, 2014. A separate family burial service will be held at a later time in Maryland. Instead of flowers, feel free to make a donation to the .
