On Thursday, 31 Mar 2011 Blake Andrew Martin, SN, USN, passed away suddenly at the age of 20 due to a tragic motorcycle accident in San Diego, CA. Blake trained at EOD Mobile Unit 1 at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, CA. Blake will remain forever in the loving memory of his parents Billy and Denise Martin, younger sister Danée, older brother Brock, sister-in-law Breanne, niece Hailey, maternal grandparents Bill and Janetta Sugg, paternal grandparents Jesse and Pat Martin, and numerous other relatives, extended family and dear friends.

A Memorial Visitation for Blake will take place on Sunday, 10 Apr at 1600 hrs. His family, friends, and EOD Community will gather to celebrate his life on Monday, 11 Apr at 1000 hrs. Both events will take place at Niceville Assembly, 108 Hwy 85 N, Niceville. Interment with full Military Honors will take place at Heritage Gardens, 2201 Partin Dr., Niceville.

The family respectfully requests that friends and loved ones make a donation in lieu of flowers in Blake's name to the EOD Memorial & Scholarship Foundation (FIN 23-7346106). Blake's parents will present the total donation at the EOD Memorial Auction on 06 May 2011 in Blake's name.
