Shirley Ann Brill-Yealy peacefully left this earth June 15, 2011, in Chandler, Ariz., surrounded by her loving family. God wanted her and he set her free.

Shirley and her identical twin, Christine, were born on April 23, 1925, to parents, Wes and Hazel Ann Brill in Philadelphia. She met the love of her life, James F. Yealy, in 1942, corresponding with him throughout World War II as he served in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific theater. Lt. Yealy and his girl were wed on Dec. 15, 1945. Jim, Shirley and their three children were blessed as an Air Force family having lived in Europe, Asia and multiple states throughout America until their retirement in 1974. Shirley enjoyed her retirement years as an active member of the Fort Walton Yacht Club, playing bridge and traveling.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jim Yealy; daughters, Barbara Morris and Christine Ball; son, James Yealy (Cecilia); grandchildren, Christine Totten, Jennifer Henry (Dane), Jason Ball (Anna), Ashley Hermes (James), and Amy Yealy; great-grand children, Hannah Totten, Jacob, Sarah, Lauren and Jack Henry, and Jayden Hermes; sister-in-law, Lorraine Brill (Jonas); and many beautiful nieces and nephews.
Her family will host a celebration of her life in the mountains of Sedona, Ariz., July 1-2.
