Dora D. Quattlebaum, 84, of Fairway Pines, Sebring, Fla., passed to her Heavenly Home on Friday, March 1, 2013, at Good Shepard Hospice House of Sebring.

Born Sept. 28, 1928, in Marietta Ga., she made her home in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., until illness forced her to move to Sebring, Fla., to be near her daughter.
Mrs. Quattlebaum was a member of the Fort Walton Beach Elkettes, Hulbert NCO Wives Club, The VFW Auxillary, The American Cancer Society for many years, and served as a Girl Scout Leader when she first moved to Fort Walton Beach in 1966.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charlie C. Quattlebaum; her parents; her two brothers; and her sister.
She is survived by her son, Charlie (Susan) of Fernadino Beach, Fla.; and two daughters, Connie Voss of King George, Va., and Margie (Ralph) Gatesman of Wauchula, Fla. She had two other daughters she adopted with her love, Brenda (Maundy) Donofrio of South Dakota, and Ms. Barbara Taylor of Fort Walton Beach; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road NE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547.
A brief Memorial will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
