Donna Edith Clites, born Sept. 27, 1939, was received into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, after a nine month battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 73. Donna will always be remembered for her generous heart, upbeat personality, and energy. Her circle of friends had no limits, Donna never met a stranger; she was friendly and kind to everyone she met. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, crocheting, and time with family and friends. She was an active member of Navarre United Methodist Church and the Women of the Moose Chapter 2320, at the Fort Walton Beach Lodge 2193 and will be greatly missed from their organizations. Donna was preceded in death by both of her parents, two brothers and a sister, and her beloved husband, William C. Clites. She is survived by her five children, three step-children, and their spouses: Debbie and David Barthelmes, Robert Reinehr, Linda and Larry Nachtrab, Richard Reinehr, Bill and Pam Reinehr, Scott and Barb Clites, David and Mary Clites, and Cindy and Chris Whalen; 23 grandchildren, step-grandchildren and their spouses: Jason and Denielle, Matthew and Sarah, Michael, Amanda, Lacy, Dean, Travis and Cristiane, Jarrod, Brian, Nick, Jessica, Evan, Ross, Erica, Cameron, Connor, Brianna, Paige, Kyle, Chase, Drake, Brody and Piper; and three great-grandchildren: Dayton, Jaxon and Lincoln.

Services will be held at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., on Thursday, Sept. 5, gathering time from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., with a memorial service immediately thereafter. A remembrance meal is kindly being hosted by the Fort Walton Beach Moose Lodge #2193, located at 226 Green Acres Rd., Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547.
