Mr. Robert Vance King, age 64, passed away Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013. He was born Aug. 23, 1949, in Pensacola, Fla., to Robert Thomas King and Nina Carolyn Hendricks King.
Mr. King was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., and was Christian by faith. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era serving his country in the United States Marine Corps as an E-4 Corporal. He was currently employed with Emerald Grand as an Assistant Manager. He enjoyed golfing, working in his yard, cooking, and spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Mr. King is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William E. King.
Mr. King is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Janet King; seven children, Marc King and wife, Renee, Carolynn Dorsey and husband, Alan, Chris Williams and wife, Britni, Vivian Kisiel and husband, John, Andrew Williams, Avery King and Amity King; one brother, David King and wife, Darlene; one sister, Linda Schultz and husband, Dennis; and four grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Point Washington United Methodist Church; 1290 North County Highway 395, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Point Washington United Methodist Church with the Rev. Spencer Turnipseed officiating and full military honors.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
