Dalburn Franklin, of Crestview, Fla., passed away in Crossville, Tenn. He was born on Oct. 6, 1966, to Dallas and Betty Franklin. Dalburn served the United States Army from 1984 to 1988. He loved hunting, fishing, hiking, biking and football, especially the Tennessee Titans and the Florida State Seminoles. He also loved the Atlanta Braves baseball. Dalburn was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas and Betty, and his grandparents, Fairley and Nettie Franklin, and Milburn and Bertha Smith.

Survivors include his sons, Derek and Dylan Franklin; brother, Damon Franklin and wife, Sarah; sisters, Brenda Franklin Martin and Bonnie Franklin Perkins and husband, Joe; nephews and nieces, Jason Martin, Bethany Lolley, Lindsey Minter, Brianne and Rocky Harrison, Matt Waldon, and Hannah and Katie Franklin; and several great nieces and nephews, beloved aunts, uncle, and numerous cousins that he loved dearly.
A celebration of Dalburn's life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at 11 a.m., at The Shepherd's Church in Milligan 5305 Hwy 4, Baker, Fla. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m. The family asks that donations be made to Boy Scout Troop #295, in appreciation for helping our family find closure.
