Mrs. Susan Jones Frishman, passed away on March 25, 2014, in Sandestin, Fla., after having pancreatic cancer and a related stroke. She was born in Gainesville, Fla., on Jan. 18, 1951. She was a graduate of Gainesville High school and the University of Florida. She had a long career in banking and financial software sales (currently VP Sales USA East and Canada for CXO-COCKPIT). She had a passion for her work and thoroughly enjoyed the company of her many business associates. She loved people and nearly everyone she met became a friend for life.
Susan was predeceased by her parents, William Ellis and Billie Hobbs Jones.
She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Robert Frishman; her son and his wife, Cory and Paola Kakol; and her granddaughter, Julia Jones Kakol. She is also survived by her sister, Ann Williams; stepsons, Mark and Dr. Andrew Frishman; several cousins; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Susan's maternal grandparents were residents of Point Washington, Fla., for many years where they were members of the Point Washington United Methodist Church.
Family will be receiving friends from 10:30 TO 11 a.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Point Washington United Methodist Church at 1290 North Highway 395, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Point Washington United Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Murray officiating.
A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
A memorial service will be held in Greenwich Connecticut at a later date.
