Hallie Lovelace Obituary
Katie was a 1989 graduate of Shady Springs High School in Shady Springs, W.Va. In 1990, Katie married her high school sweetheart, Jim Lovelace, and travelled the world as an Air Force spouse. She and Jim were blessed with three wonderful children. Katie lived a joyful life, and she loved spending time with her family and any day at the beach.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Parris, of Princeton, W.Va.; and grandparents, James and Hallie Kessinger, of Beckley.
Katie is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Lovelace, of Crestview; son, James "Derek" Lovelace, at home; daughters, Lynsi Kay Lovelace, of Crestview, and Kaysi Lyn Lovelace, at home; her mother, Nancy Gragg, of White Oak, W.Va.; brother, Donald Gragg, of Shady Springs; and sisters, Tammy Romage, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., and Dawn Gragg, of Richmond, Va.
Family and friends will gather in remembrance of Katie from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at the chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview.

I was saddened to hear of Katie's passing. I never knew her to be anything but kind and positive about everything and everyone. I imagine that heaven must be in need of Katie's delightful disposition to spread more joy throughout the world from above. It is a great loss than anyone who met her will feel and I know your family feels it most intensely. I love that photo of her that was selected for this book; it really captures her spirit, which now lives on in heaven.
