Schumacher, Scott B. - Kenosha  
Scott B. Schumacher Born: Dec. 22, 1973; in Elkhorn, WI Died: Feb. 25, 2015; in Milwaukee, WI Scott B. "Shoe" Schumacher, 41, of Trevor, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee surrounded by his loving family. Born in Elkhorn, WI, on December 22, 1973, he was the son of Donald and Barbara (Portlock) Schumacher. He was raised in Harvard, IL, and graduated from Harvard High School as well as Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor Degree in Fire Science. On May 22, 1999, he married Kristine M. Ahrens in Harvard. Scott was a fireman, first in Harvard, for seven years and for the last sixteen years with the Kenosha Fire Department where he was a Fire Lieutenant answering over 10,000 calls for service and receiving multiple life-saving merit citations. He was a member of the Fireman's Local 414 where he served on the executive board, was involved with the Kenosha Fire Fighters C.A.R.E. program, and was also very involved with the Lakeland Little League program where he served as president and assisted over 3,500 children pursue their passion for the sport. Survivors include his wife, Kris; and their three children, Ryan (13) and twins, Sean and Sara (6), all of Trevor; his parents, Don and Barb of Delavan, WI; a sister, Laura (Brad) Gaylord of Antioch, IL; his one surviving grandparent, Bev Hardt of Beloit, WI; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Judy Ahrens of Sharon, WI; a sister-in-law, Lisa Ahrens of Elkhorn, WI; a brother-in-law, Dave (Laura) Ahrens of Walworth, WI; six nieces and nephews; and several other relatives and friends. He is also survived by his lifelong best friend, Matt Haerter. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 5th, at A.F. Siebert Chapel at Carthage College at 12:00 noon. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Thursday, at the chapel from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Scott's children, Kenosha Fire Fighters C.A.R.E., or the Lakeland Little League program would be appreciated by the family. Those who are intending on attending any part of Scott's services on Thursday, there will be ample parking at an off-site location with free shuttle bus service to the A.F. Siebert Chapel. Lorraine E. Selcke Born: June 21, 1919 Died: Feb. 23, 2015 Lorraine E. Selcke (nee Spath), age 95, of Cary passed away February 23, 2015. She was born June 21, 1919, in Chicago the daughter of Arthur and Martha Spath. Lorraine is survived by her husband, Richard Selcke, whom she married August 15, 1942, in Chicago. She is also survived by her children, Susan M. Maxwell and Richard A. Selcke; and two grandchildren, Heather K. Anderson and David W. Nichols. She is preceded in death by a son, Dennis Selcke; and a sister, Mildred Zenger. She was co-founder with her husband of Kraft Concrete in Cary. She was a member of the Cary Country Club Friday night mixed league and attended many dances there. Memorial Service will be held May 30, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at Lake Julian, 65 Rt. 14, Cary. Sroblewski, Roget - Wonder Lake  
Roger J. Wroblewski Born: Aug. 20, 1947; in Chicago, IL Died: Feb. 20, 2015; in McHenry, IL Roger J. Wroblewski, age 67, of Wonder Lake, died Friday, February 20, 2015, at Centegra Hospital - McHenry. He was born August 20, 1947, in Chicago, to Norbert and Leone (Eckstein) Wroblewski. On August 27, 1966, he married Peggy Sue Barnett at the First Baptist Church in Carpentersville. Roger was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and served two tours of duty during the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1968. He was the recipient of a bronze service star. After serving his country, Roger worked in sales and later was a truck driver. He remained very active with veterans organizations, and enjoyed outreach activities to help other veterans. Roger was the past-president of the McHenry County Chapter of VietNow, where he also held all offices throughout the years. He loved the companionship of his dog, Ivy. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Peggy Sue; three children, Roger Wroblewski, Melissa Wroblewski, and Jason (Kelly) Wroblewski; three grandchildren, Jasmine, Corrina, and Autumn; his mother, Leone Wroblewski; and a brother, William (Donna) Wroblewski. Roger was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, IL 60050. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock. Jill M. Sutek Born: Oct. 21, 1949; in Chicago, IL Died: Feb. 20, 2015; in Woodstock, IL Jill M. Sutek, age 65, of Lake in the Hills, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015. She was born October, 21, 1949, in Chicago. She married William Sutek, April 23, 1983. She was employed by Jewel-Osco in Crystal Lake for 26 years, and Paul's Family Restaurant in Elgin. She enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her "favorite" grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Shane (Lori) Vetter and Rodger (Karissa) Sutek; step-daughters, Gina (Mike) Christensen and Kris Andrews; grandchildren, Taylor Levesque, Sabrina Vetter, Jackson Vetter, Jacob Vetter and Bill Sutek; her mother, Lillian Brennan; brothers, Rodger Vetter, Jeff Vetter, Ronnie Vetter; step-brother, John Brennan; sisters, Kathy (Tim) Olsen, Joyce (Ivan) Gati; step-sisters, Denise Brennan and Kim Muirnecara and many aunt, uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Sutek; and step-father, John "Jack" Brennan.
