SPRING GROVE – Isabella N. "Isa" Kranz, 15, of Spring Grove, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Centegra Hospital – McHenry.
Born Sept. 13, 1997, in Barrington, Isa was a resident of Spring Grove for the past 11 years. She attended and graduated from Spring Grove Elementary School and Nippersink Middle School. She was in her first year of high school at Richmond-Burton High School, where she was a cheerleader.
Isa was a creative artist. She loved sketching and painting, especially horses and cartoon characters. She also enjoyed tumbling and often attended open gym on Friday nights. She loved a variety of music, and enjoyed riding and caring for her quarterhorse, Ted. Her laugh was contagious. She was witty and lit up the whole room. People often described her as the happiest kid in the whole world.
