BARRINGTON – Lillian D. Ankele (nee Foreman), 95, a lifelong resident of Barrington, was born Nov. 25, 1917, in Waukegan, to the late James and Anna (nee Schumacher) Foreman, and died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at her home.
Survivors include her sons, Dale (Lynn) Ankele of Crystal Lake and Don (Paula) Ankele of Cary; grandchildren, Ian (Denae) Ankele, Cameron (Nikki) Ankele, Lindsey (Chris) Marzano and Christopher and Lauren Ankele; great-grandchildren, Caden, Finn and Graham Ankele, and Miles Marzano; siblings, Betty Myk of Barrington, James (Carol) Foreman of Woodstock and Harold (Bev) Foreman of Pell Lake, Wis.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ankele was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, in 1994; and sisters, Frances Foreman, Louise Schriber and Shirley Werner.
The visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 26, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
