Lynne S. Dritlein

CARY – Lynne S. Dritlein (nee Letzter), 59, of Cary and formerly of South Barrington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones Monday, March 25, 2013.
Raised in Johnsburg, she graduated from McHenry West High School in 1971. She was a devoted mom, Girl Scout troop leader and room parent and supported her daughter's volleyball teams for many years. After raising her four daughters, she continued to fulfill her passion of caring for children while she worked at Children's House Montessori and Bright Horizons. An avid reader of mysteries, and collector of holiday décor, she made every birthday and holiday special for friends and family. Grandma "Chach" always will be remembered for her unconditional love, kind heart, sense of humor and love of good food.
Loving daughter of the late George and Lorraine Letzter, survived by her beloved daughters, Amy (Craig) Winkelman of Fox River Grove, Julie (Andrew) Freund of Round Lake, Beth (Charlie) Hagelskamp of Noblesville, Ind., and Holly Dritlein of Hoover, Ala. She is the dear sister of Scott (Lori) Letzter and Jeff (Lori) Letzter; fond aunt; and most cherished grandma of Kate and Tori Winkelman, Luke, Lyla and Emma Hagelskamp, and Alaina Freund and Mary O'Connor, her lifelong friend.
The visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at Morizzo Funeral Home. Visitors are encouraged to share their favorite "Lynnie" story at the memorial service, which will be from 4 to 4:30 p.m.
