LA FARGE, Wis. – Richard Dale Millner Sr., 69, of La Farge, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at Vernon Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 19, 1944, in Harvard. Richard was a farmer and mechanic – more accurately a jack-of-all-trades. He loved a challenge while working with his hands.
Richard and Terri Shawley were married Aug. 23, 1980, in the West Lima Church.
Survivors include his wife, Terry Millner; children, Barb, Mark, Chip, Stephanie, Traci, Shawn (Karmen), Justin (Holly) and Holly (Mike); 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his siblings, Tom (Dorothy), Barb, Leath, Duke (Linda) and Jim; his two best friends, Glen Loper and Jim Clark; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Rick Millner; two brothers-in-law, Ray Boettcher and Alfred Roeslin.
Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 16, at Seland Huston Funeral Home in La Farge. The Rev. Doug Andersen officiated. Burial was in the Bear Creek Cemetery. The visitation was at the funeral home on Sunday, Sept. 15.
