My husband & I are very sorry for your loss. We just have become neighbors & unfortunately have not had the privilege of being able to become good friends. My husband Frank & my son Jonathan did have the opportunity to meet Bill in February. They would like you to know that Bill was a fine man.

My Dear Sweet William. Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for the loss I'm experiencing. I loved you dearly. Your beautiful smile and twinkling blue eyes are imbedded in my mind. Your charm, your wit, your love will be with me always. The 10 years we had together were the happiest years of both our lives. You are gone, but never will be forgotten. You will live in my heart forever. You truely were a "gentle man".....All my love always.

Bill was a wonderful, fun loving friend who I spent many young years with playing cars on his Moms bed on Pensicola Ave. in Chicago. We then reconnected in Long Grove playing football. Bill was in our wedding and we then graduated to having great families! We moved to Scottsdale and lost track of each other. We will miss his wonderful personality. We love you Bill!

I didn't know Mr. Trumbull, but saw that he was a Vietnam veteran and just wanted to say thank you to his family for his sacrifice and service to his country. It is appreciated. God bless him and his family. Take care.

It is hard to put into words the sadness we feel with Bill’s passing, Jack and I were blessed to have known him, and spent many days out in the yard watching Brandy and Gracie play. When we think about him even though we are sad, his memory still makes us smile. He was a lovely, gracious man, someone you looked forward to seeing each day. Please know you are in thoughts and prayers. Judee & Jack Decker (Riverwood Rd, Naples Fl)

My father did not have a negative bone in his body. He was the sweetest, most caring man who always, always knew what to say to cheer me up. He was an incredible father, to say the least. He was incredibly supportive and proud of myself and his grandchildren. Everyone who knew my father absolutely adored him. His contagious smile and gorgeous blue eyes will forever be inbedded in my heart. I love you daddy. I cannot believe you're gone. But you will never be forgotton.
