Robert Richter Obituary
He was born Nov. 15, 1952, to Robert and Shirley (Rusnak) Richter. He married Carol Blacketter on Jan. 13, 1973, in Clayton.
He owned and operated Rob's Upholstery in McHenry for 33 years. He owned and bred Brittanys and was an avid field trialer. He was a member of the LaSalle, Badger and Greater Milwaukee Brittany Clubs. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors, horseback riding, softball and sports of all kinds.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; two daughters, Tara D. (Matt) Florell of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Ryan Michelle Richter (Jim Stockard) of Citronelle, Ala.; two grandchildren, Charlotte Elizabeth and William Loren of St. Petersburg; his mother, Shirley Richter of Buffalo Grove; a brother, Doug (Lori) Richter of Mahomet; four nieces; and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Richter; and his grandparents, Al and Mildred Richter and Steve and Catherine Rusnak.
The visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 23, at Saunders and McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St., Harvard, with a memorial service at 7 p.m.
