Julie Lairson Obituary

WOODSTOCK – Julie J. Lairson, 89, of Woodstock, died Friday, May 20, 2011, at her home.
She was born Dec. 26, 1921, in Pembine, Wis., to Louis and Caroline (Madi) Ostrowski.
Formerly of Antioch and Phoenix, she resided in Woodstock since October 2006.
A doting grandmother, she loved babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as caring for other children, Thomas and Christopher Miller. She also enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by two daughters, Faith (Clark Hollis) Lorenzen of Maryville, Tenn., and Kathleen (Dennis Lehman) Kuchta of McHenry; four grandchildren, Gerald Lasco of Burlington, Wis., Robert (Stacy) Kuchar of Anthem, Ariz., Hillary (Daniel) Loibl of Ridgecrest, Cali., and Christian (Denise Johnson) Lehman of Safety Harbor, Fla.; and three great-grandchildren, Connor, Lexi and Emelye.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Lairson in 1993; a grandson, Dale Lasco; five sisters; seven brothers; and her former husband, George Kuchta.
The visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 27, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry.
Friends also may visit from 11 a.m to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at the funeral home. The funeral blessing will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The cremation rite will be accorded privately.
For those wishing to send an expression of condolence, her family suggests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, 30 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 2015, Chicago, IL 60602.
