ALGONQUIN – John Dewey "JD" Fennessy was a young man trying to reboot his life when it was tragically taken by a hit-and-run driver Monday, Oct. 1, 2012.
He was born Jan. 14, 1990.
He was loved by many and is survived by his mother, Frances (Kris); sister, Ashley; brother, Kyle; a young son, Levi Killian; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and as someone posted on Facebook, a friend base longer than the Illinois rules of the road. We will miss his gentle soul and his little boy charm. He always was there when you needed him and was a son his mother was very proud of.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at 609 S. Hubbard St., Algonquin.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help cover funeral expenses can be sent to 271 Walnut Lane, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. The family wishes to express their gratitude for all of your kindness and prayers shown in their time of sorrow.
