CRYSTAL LAKE – Brenda Kay Snell, 62, of Crystal Lake, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at home surrounded by her family. |
She was born March 10, 1951, to Robert and Hallie (Hubbs) Dunn in Anna. Happily married to Ronald Snell for 28 years, she was a loving woman who mothered everyone she knew and enjoyed cooking for her loved ones.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Snell; her brothers, Robert M. (Kim) Dunn Jr. and Larry (Kacee) Dunn; her sisters, Audrey Snell (Kelly) and Deborah Dunn; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and numerous friends and family in West Virginia, North Carolina and Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hallie and Robert Dunn Sr.; her father-in-law, Roy Snell; her mother-in-law, Ruth Snell; her sisters, Carolyn Robinson and Janet Dunn; and her brother-in-laws, Robert Snell and Roy Edward Snell.
Donations may be made in her honor to Journey Care Hospice, 405 Lake Zurich Rd., Barrington, IL 60010.
The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
