McHENRY – Christopher J. Butler, 32, of McHenry, passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012.|
He was born in Chicago on Sept. 20, 1980, the son of James D. Butler and Nancy Butler. He was raised in McHenry on McCullom Lake and was truly a free spirit at heart.
One of his best attributes was his endearment toward his family and friends. He was an avid sportsman who loved fishing, boating, dirt biking, golfing and snowmobiling. Christopher loved sports. He was an incredible baseball player and enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears. His great passion in life was spending quality time with his children. He was loved dearly by his family and friends.
He is survived by his son, Austin (mother, Joanne); daughter, Allyson; fiancée, Linda O'Day; parents, James and Nancy Butler; sister, Candace and Randy Vance with nephew and nieces, Dawson, Ashleigh, Hannah; and brother, Darren and Kathy Butler with nieces and nephew, Paige, Crystal and Cory.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Helen, and grandfather, Eddie.
The visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry. The funeral service will be at 6 p.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be private.
