Clarence C. Emons Born: March 17, 1931; Lake Nebagamon, WI Died: Jan. 12, 2014; McHenry, IL Clarence C. Emons, 82, of McHenry, formerly a long-time Crystal Lake resident, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014, at home surrounded by his family. He was born March 17, 1931, in Lake Nebagamon, WI. He married Ruth M. Harvey on December 16, 1950, in Hawthorn, WI. Mr. Emons retired from Meyer Material in Carol Stream, and spent his retirement in Bible studies, woodworking, gardening, reading, and with his family. Clarence was a long-time attendee of the Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake. Survivors include his wife Ruth; children, Deborah (Bryant) Clark, Patricia (Brian) Thon, Steven (Patti) Emons, and Christine (Thomas) Sanders; grandchildren, Richard (Mary) and Jeffrey (Meredith) Foydl and Juline, Clayton (Holly), and Caelin Emons; great-grandchildren, Nick, Alysia, Michael, Alex, Miles, Ashley, Grant, Breann, and Kinley; siblings, Richard (Jan) Easty, Joyce Shaler, and Donna (Ted) Callahan; and sister-in-law, Elaine Easty. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Cora (nee Springstein) Easty; and siblings, Alice (Bill) Stokes and Clayton Easty. The visitation will be Wednesday, January 15, from 10 a.m., until the time of service at 12 noon, at the Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolence Fund at the Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake, 575 E. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
