Craig Scott Hunt, age 56, of Webb City, Missouri, passed away July 30, 2018 at his home. He was born on January 9, 1962 in Woodstock to Ralph and Ruth (Sherman) Hunt.

Craig graduated from Woodstock High School with the class of 1980. In 1981 he moved to California where he lived for a few years before moving to Joplin, Missouri to live with his sister, Kristy and her husband, Bill. He worked for Tamko Building Products and eventually bought a home where he lived for several years. He then bought a new home where he lived for several years and changed jobs and worked for Hampshire Products. His next move was to a new home in Webb City, MO where he was living when he passed away.

Craig was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks and the Pittsburg Steelers. He often could be seen wearing his Woodstock North Thunder sweatshirt which he was proud of because his nephew, Jason coached basketball there. He also loved to cook and would often text pictures of the meals he made to his mother and his sister.

Craig was preceded in death by his father, Ralph; his sister, Kristy; and his niece, Rachel Markham.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth; his sister, Lori Stock and her husband, Randy; three nephews, Jason Stock and his wife, Lexi, Wesley Stock and his wife, Dr. Laura and Robert Markham; as well as eight great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles as well as many cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Woodstock, 2018 N. Route 47 on September 15 at 4:00 pm. Following the service friends and family will gather in the social hall of the church for refreshments.

Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Church.
