Diane was born June 12, 1936, in Chicago, to William and Bernice Proll.
She was married to her loving husband, Richard, for 49 years until his passing in October 2006.
Diane loved to spend her days feeding the birds with her many bird feeders, reading one of her many books, or sewing for her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Christine (John) Conway, Patricia (Dan) McClenthen, Susan (Dan) Tuohy, and Lisa (Steve) Mikulic; grandchildren, John (Shelly), Ryan, Nicole, James, Lucas (Pat) and Grace; great-grandchildren, Fayith, Hope and James III; sister, Bonnie (Richard) Burke; many nieces and nephews; and special cousin, Clark.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Richard.
The visitation will be will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave. (Route 176), Crystal Lake. The service will be at 1 p.m.
Interment will be private.
