WONDER LAKE – Elizabeth H. Harrison, 58, of Wonder Lake, died suddenly Monday, June 25, 2012, at Centegra Hospital – McHenry.
She was born on Feb. 19, 1954, in North Platte, Neb., to Arnold F. and Lucille M. (Powell) Freeman Sr. On July 1, 1990, she married Robert J. Harrison at Greenwood Methodist Church in Greenwood.
She had been employed by Mercy Healthcare in Woodstock as a registered nurse. An excellent crafter, she was known for making and handing out little angels to everyone she came in contact with because she believed that "everyone needs to have an angel with them."
She was the best wife and mother anyone could ask for and was devoted to her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Harrison of Wonder Lake; children, Elizabeth M. Harrison of Wonder Lake, James (Eliza) Butler and Conrad Butler; and two brothers, Arnold F. Freeman Jr. and David Freeman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Deborah Givens.
The visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at the Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry.
