Obituary Condolences

WOODSTOCK – Erin Eola Seemann, 48, of Woodstock, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 13, 2013, while vacationing with her husband in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
She was born Dec. 22, 1964, in McHenry, to Henry "Jim" and Eola "Birdie" (Walters) Deppmeier.
Erin graduated from Johnsburg High School in the class of 1983. She married Robert F. "Bob" Seemann on May 12, 1990, in Huntley.
Erin was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Woodstock.
She always enjoyed working with children, especially children with special needs. Those who knew Erin would also know that she was a very caring and nurturing person.
She enjoyed vacationing in Jamaica, and one might say that it was her favorite place in the world to visit.
Erin was a wonderful daughter, a loving wife, an adoring mother and a very dear friend. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert F. "Bob" Seemann; her daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Seemann; her mother, Eola "Birdie" Deppmeier; two brothers, Brent Deppmeier (Suzanne Schumann) and Brad (Laura) Deppmeier; seven nieces and nephews, Samantha Seemann, Kayla Shivley, Bradley Seemann, Joseph Shivley Jr., Carter Shivley, Andrew Johnson and Alexander Johnson; and many extended family members and truly wonderful friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and her father, Henry "Jim" Deppmeier.
A visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock. The visitation will continue from 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, until the funeral Mass is celebrated at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church, 2918 Country Club Road, Woodstock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association (NISRA), 285 Memorial Drive, Crystal Lake, IL 60014, or to the Pioneer Center, 725 N. Madison St., Woodstock, IL 60098.For information, call the funeral home at 815-338-1710.
