Eunice Irene Rigg, age 95, passed away on March 30, 2018, in Anaheim, CA.

She was born in Sparta, WI, on March 11, 1923, a daughter of the late Myrtle and Oscar Baumback. She married Charlie Rigg on May 2, 1943 in Sparta and added three children to their family. He passed away July 9, 1992. Life took her from Sparta to Milwaukee, WI and to Illinois for many years, and back to WI as they became Rigg's Resort owners. A few years later, returned to Hebron and Crystal Lake, IL where she opened her business "Eunice's Eggery" until closing in 2014. She remained an active member of Lord and Savior Lutheran Church, sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and was a Bible School Teacher, and a hotline volunteer for the Pregnancy Counseling Center. In 2014, she relocated to CA to live with family and onto the Robin's Nest Care Home where she finished out her final days.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Sharry) Miller of Buena Park, CA; daughter-in-law, Janet (Barry) Rigg; brother-in-law, Dr. Richard (Pam) Rigg of Castro Valley, CA; and sister-in-law, Donna (Sonny) Jenkins, Wyle, TX; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie; her daughter, Debbie Babcock; her son, Barry; her sons-in-law, Wayne Babcock and Harland Miller.

Memorial visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the funeral service at 11:00 am, June 16, 2018, at Lord and Savior Lutheran Church, 9300 Ridgefield Rd, Crystal Lake, with Rev. David Carolovsky officiating. Inurnment will be in Crystal Lake Union Cemetery at a later date.
