WONDER LAKE – Jennifer Lynn Ransdell was born May 9, 1948, in Evanston, to James Herbert and Frances (nee Thlimmenus) Rice. She passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at home in Wonder Lake as a result of complications due to her diagnosis with multiple sclerosis.|
Jennifer was a loving mother and gifted writer.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, John Edward Ransdell; and her granddaughter, Frances Thomas.
Jennifer is survived by her children, Debora (Jerome) Bondi, Donna (Charles) Orkild, Deanna (Christopher) Larkin, John (Janet) Ransdell, Dorina Ransdell and Jeffrey Ransdell; grandchildren Michael (Tera) Thomas, Andrew (Jennifer) Orkild, Michelle (Frederick) Cassier, Brandee (Shawn) Mitchell, Marshall Larkin, Austin Larkin, Troy Bondi, Jenna Kramer, Colin Orkild, David Orkild, Eliana Orkild, Sophia Ransdell and Truman Ransdell; great-grandchildren, Athena Gilman-Thomas, Wyatt Gilman-Thomas, Geneva Cassier and Harper Mitchell; brother, James Rice; and sister, Janet (George) Lavida.
A graveside memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at Windridge Memorial Park, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Road, Cary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, JourneyCare Hospice or Woodstock Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
