Joseph Coriaci, 81, of the Tellico Village Community, Loudon, TN passed away on July 10, 2014 at home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with Lymphoma and Leukemia.
Joe was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. He was a 4th Degree Member of The Knights of Columbus and a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War. Joe was a well known and respected banker in the International Banking Industry. He retired to Marco Island, FL and later moved to Tellico Village. The things that made him the happiest were his family, particularly his wife, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Barbara Coriaci; daughter, Kathy (Brian) Free of Woodstock; sons, Joseph (Janet) Coriaci of Crystal Lake and Frank Coriaci of Gurnee; grandchildren, Jennifer and Karly Free, Joseph, Nicholas, and Stephanie Coriaci, and Brittany and Gabriella Coriaci; and several cousins, aunts and uncles. He was loved and adored by everyone he met.
Visitation Thursday, July 17, 2014, from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights and Friday, July 18 from 10:00 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am at St. Edna's Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Lenoir City, TN.
