WOODSTOCK – Kevin E. Gregory, 40, of Woodstock, died Friday, June 7, 2013, at his home in Woodstock.|
He was born in Harvard on Dec. 23, 1972, to Kenneth and Mary (Hauri) Gregory.
Kevin was a 1991 graduate of Woodstock Community High School. He loved farm life. He was involved with 4-H for many years, going to all the area county fairs to show dairy cattle, including his big Brown Swiss. He was employed at Dean Foods and the city of Woodstock. He most recently worked as the assistant dairy herdsman for Buck A Dell Farms. He also owned and operated Hogg Farms. He was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed working on all types of farm equipment. He shared his huge heart with all those who knew him. He was loved by many and will be missed but never forgotten.
He is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Mary Gregory of Woodstock; a sister, Kelly (Jamie) Nabb of Lowden, Iowa; two nephews, Nathan and Jaydon Nabb; his girlfriend, Becky Meier of Ridott; and many aunts and uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at First United Methodist Church, 201 W. South St., Woodstock. Pastor Kurt Gamlin will preside. A fellowship time to follow immediately after the service for those who wish to share their condolences.
