McHENRY – Lesley Ann Meyer, 67, of McHenry, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at her home in Lake Geneva, Wis.|
Lesley was born July 26, 1945, in Irthlingborough, England, the daughter of Robert W. and Mary (Dickerson) Kilday.
Lesley graduated from MCHS Class of 1963. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She worked as a medical transcriptionist. She was a member of the Viscounts Drum and Bugle Corps, serving as one of the drum majors and marching with the corps color guard.
Lesley is survived by her husband of 37 years, Donald "Butch" Meyer; her sons, Eric (Nicole) Nordenson and Arne Nordenson; her daughter, Katie (Mike) Tokarz; loving grandmother to six grandchildren, Courtney, Joshua, James, Jack, Annalie and Reed; and brothers and sisters, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Tom) Little, Paul (Mary Beth) Kilday, Kitty (Ed) Edgerton, Robert (Kristine) Kilday and Val (Dean) Ziebel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her father and mother-in-law, Donald and Loretta Meyer; brother-in-law, James Meyer; and grandson, Colin Nordenson.
The visitation will be Wednesday, July 17, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry, and will continue Thursday from 9 a.m. until prayers at 10 a.m., proceeding to St. Patrick Church, 3500 Washington St., McHenry, for a 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass celebration. Interment will be private at the church cemetery.
