WOODSTOCK – Lila Loraine Johnson, 76, of Woodstock, died Friday, July 19, 2013, at Crossroads Care Center in Woodstock.|
She was born Aug. 5, 1936, in Colman, S.D., to Freeland Wesley and Lida Lucile (Pickard) Lee.
She had been an executive secretary for Emerson Electric and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Bridgeton, Mo. Lila was a pianist, organist, Sunday school teacher and Awana leader. She was an artist and enjoyed oil painting.
Survivors include her four brothers, Robert (Gladys) Lee of Colman, Donald (Donna) Lee of Amaranth, Manitoba, Canada, Karl (June) Lee of Colman and Merle Lee of Raymore, Mo.; sister, Grace (Fred) Burtelson of Harvard; and sister-in-law, Sibyl Lee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, LeRoy and Marvin Lee.
Services will be in South Dakota.
