CRYSTAL LAKE – Michael Salvaggio, 65, of Crystal Lake, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012.
He was born Jan. 9, 1947, in Chicago to Joseph and Concetta Salvaggio. On Dec. 16, 1994, he married Sue Sparks in Woodstock.
Throughout his life, he enjoyed fishing, photography and was active in the NRA. He enjoyed the companionship of his dog, Lady.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Salvaggio; his children, Michael Joe, Elizabeth and Joe Salvaggio; his stepchildren, Robin Maddern, Robert Lee, Roxann (Vincent) Daniello, and Tracy (Steve) Kleszczynski; and his five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his dear friend, John Salzmann.
A memorial visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, June 18, with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
