Ralph Mains Obituary
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Pamela Mains; his mother, Shirley Wesenberg; a sister, Cindy; a brother, Roy; and a grandson, Shane.
He was born March 8, 1947, in Elgin, to Ralph L. and Shirley (Erb) Mains Sr. On Dec. 27, 1998, he married Petra Degand in Garden Prairie.
He was a former business owner in Marengo. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 301. He loved his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife, Petra; his children, Stephen (Brenda), Sarah (Mark) Wescott, Scott (Dawn) and Shaun (Becky); his grandchildren, James, Samantha, Rebecca, Jordan, Tyler, Austin, Jacob, Harley, Autumn, Carter and Gavin; numerous brothers and sisters; and his father, Ralph Mains Sr.
The visitation will be from noon until the 4 p.m. memorial service Sunday, Sept. 27, at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Highway, Marengo.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1210, Chicago, IL 60601.

We were cery sorry to hear about Ralph. Wayne was very upset. He was a good friend. Please accept our sincere condolences. Soory we could not come, but we live in southern Missouri now and it is a 9 hour drive.
