ELK GROVE VILLAGE – Mary Granger Krabbenhoft was a resident of Manor Care of Elk Grove Village for the past two years and former resident of Crystal Lake and Lead Hill, Ark.
Mary was born Sept. 14, 1923, in McHenry.
She graduated high school in Hayward, Wis., in 1941.
She married in 1943 and lived and raised a family in Crystal Lake until 1985 when she retired from Oak Industries after more than 25 years of service.
She was the wife of the late Adrian D. "Stub" Krabbenhoft for 58 years; mother to five children, John, Patricia, Judy, David (Alison) and the late Carol; mother-in-law of the late Marjorie; grandmother to nine; great-grandmother to 12; and great-great-grandmother to one.
A celebration of Mary's life will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at the Sheffield Town Clubhouse, 1000 Walnut, Schaumburg.
