CRYSTAL LAKE – Agnes Louise Pearson, 90, of Crystal Lake, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Crossroads Care Center in Woodstock.
She was born April 7, 1921, in Sturgis, Ky., to Jerry and Genie (Lefler) Mackey. On June 26, 1943, she married Walter Pearson in Chicago.
She is survived by her sons, Jerry (Elaine), Thomas (Janice), John (Liz) and Bill (Christine); her daughter-in-law, Susan Pearson; her grandchildren, Tammy (Dan) Pritt, Penny (Mike) Viater, Thomas (Lisa) Pearson Jr., Toby (Lisa) Pearson, Jackie (Joe) Seymour, David Pearson, Amy (John) Reimer, Kelly (Matt) Stephas, Janet (Jack) Murch, Traci (Jason Gloede) Pearson, Emily Pearson, Dereck Pearson and Ryan Pearson; 18 great-grandchildren; and many close family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; her son, Rick; and her siblings, Eugene Mackey, William Mackey and Leena Wanagus.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Interment will be private.
