NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. – Stephen Hrncar, 81, of Nicholasville, formerly of Woodstock, died Saturday, May 19, 2012, at his home.
He was born on Oct. 30, 1930, in Cicero to Stephen Hrncar and Katarina Vrlak. He married Margaret Solms on Oct. 26, 1957.
Mr. Hrncar was a veteran, serving in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Hrncar; children, Denise Hrncar, Stephen (Carol) Hrncar, Diana (Steve) Raney and Michael Hrncar; grandchildren, Katrina (Tony) Arizzi, Stephanie Cooley, Joshua Farrell and partner Terry Teele, Abigail (Eric) Guzman and Amber Raney; and great-grandchildren, Carolin Arizzi and Dominic Arizzi.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ralph Hrncar.
The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 25, at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock. A liturgical wake service will be at 7 p.m. The funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Ave., Woodstock. Interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Woodstock.
In lieu of flowers, memorial Masses would be appreciated, or a donation to a .
