LAKEMOOR – Eric B. Kisly, "SunKisly," 23, of Lakemoor, died Saturday, June 16, 2012.
He was born Jan. 17, 1989, in Sarasota, Fla., to Bernard F. and Linda E. (Espenbaum) Kisly.
Eric was a graduate with honors from Michigan Technical Institute with a degree in civil engineering. In his free time, he enjoyed playing broom ball.
"Eric was an honest, responsible, intelligent, and gifted young man who loved the color yellow and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Friends called him 'SunKisly' for his love of Sunkist soda."
He is survived by his parents, Bernard F. Kisly and Linda E. (Espenbaum) Kisly; brother, Michael; sister, Lauren; and maternal grandmother, Rhea Espenbaum.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Sven Espenbaum; and his paternal grandparents, Bernard and Ann Kisly.
The visitation will be from 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, until the time of the funeral service at 5:30 p.m. at the Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock. The Rev. Roger W. Schneider from the Shepherd of the Hills Church in McHenry will officiate. Interment will be private.
Visitors are asked to please wear something yellow in Eric's memory.
