NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Ronald Dawson Sr. of New Port Richey, formerly of Fox River Grove, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012, at the age of 75.
He was born July 6, 1937, in Evanston. On March 22, 1959, he married Dorothy Mower. He was a devoted husband and father. He worked in the printing industry for many years before he retired to Florida. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in New Port Richey.
He is survived by his children, Ronald (Tammy) Dawson Jr. and Cynthia Corrigan; his grandchildren, Shawn, Bradley, Ashley and John; his brother, Larry (Cheryl) Dawson; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; son, Robert; and brother, Keith Dawson.
The visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at noon Saturday, July 28, at Maranatha Assembly of God Church, 2505 Ringwood Road, McHenry. Pastor Mike Hein will officiate.
