HUNTLEY – Cecele Peterson, nee Gravel, 58, of Huntley, made her transition Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012.
She was the unconditionally loving mother of Ralph (Allison) DeStefano and Cece DeStefano (Alex Reid); stepmother of Eric (Faye) Peterson; cherished grandmother of Kayla, Brad and Joe Peterson, and Violet and Max DeStefano; dear sister of Rita Ann Gravel, the late Raoul (Susan) Gravel, Mary Ellen (Michael) Penich, Georgette Joyce and JoAnn (Robert) DiVirgilio; and adored "auntie" of many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis "Pete" Peterson.
The visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, with a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Parish, 6401 Gages Lake Road, Gurnee – www.stpaultheapostle.net.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Rainbow Hospice – www.rainbowhospice.org – would be greatly appreciated.
