Cynthia A. Thomfohrda, age 64, of Woodstock, died Saturday, May 24, 2014, at her home in Woodstock. She was born in Chicago on October 31, 1949, to George A. and Barbara (Schroeder) Loser. She married Willard "Woody" Thomfohrda May 23, 1991 in Woodstock. She graduated from McHenry High School, the class of 1968. She worked for over 20 years at Town Tap in Woodstock as a Bartender and Manager. She also was employed at Eagle and Swiss Maid Bakery both in Woodstock. She enjoyed camping and baking and canning. She was loved and will be missed.
She is survived by her husband Willard; 3 daughters, Barbie (Charles) Braden, Diane Ange and Deborah Wagner; 3 brothers, George N. (Lorraine) Loser, Steven (Kathi) Loser and Leonard (Holly) Montcalm; a sister, Kathleen Heber; 3 grandchildren, Heather Fairall, Jeffrey Parker and Leroy Brown; a great grandchild, Adryana Jones; step children, Jeff Thomfohrda and Jennifer Thomfohrda; and a grand stepchild, Xavier Thomfohrda; and many nieces and nephews; and her dog Molly.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
