It was in Las Vegas that she held her favorite job as a substitute teacher at The Academy of International Studies, Performing and Visual Arts.
Jan lived her life to the fullest. She dearly loved politics, travel, music, and her family and friends.
She was proceeded in death by two sons, Jeffrey and Billy. She is survived by her children, Jon Furlow (Brenda) of Madison, Wis., and Mary Lyman (Tim) of Algonquin; her five grandchildren, Matthew, Rachel, Colin, Erin and Delaney; and a brother, Gene Gregory.
