DANIELLE C. KOOI CROWN POINT, IN Danielle C. Kooi, age 42, of Crown Point, IN passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 31, 2014. Danielle is survived by her daughter, Madison, whom she loved and adored beyond words; parents: Tom and Candy Kooi of Lowell, IN; grandmother, Pearl Kooi; sister, Melissa (Mark) Boothe of Chesterton, IN; niece and nephew: Madeline and Mark also of Chesterton; aunts and uncles: Melodie and Tom Hendryx, Randy and Nancy Kurrack, Mike and Sharon Kooi, Patt and Don Hayhurst and Linda Rich; many cousins and special cousins: Stephanie and Kurt Rewerts and girls. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Jim and Janet Kurrack and Jake and Lavern Kooi. Danielle loved interior decorating and her houses were beautiful. She had a huge heart of gold and will be missed by all. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave./South St., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 3:00 PM until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM with Rev. I'm sorry I didn't sign this sooner but I am still struggling with the fact you are gone..Not a day goes by that I don't think about you Dani. I miss you so much. Everywhere I go I see our misadventures and giggle my butt off. You were the one person who knew ME and loved me anyway. I was blessed to have you as my bestie for 5 years and I would give anything to hear you say "you're so stupid" in that silly way one last time.....rest easy till we meet again my friend <3

Dani, I am so grateful that we had that moment in crown point a few months ago to catch up. I lost Daymond at 45 and the questions of why will never be known to me. I just lean on my faith in God. I am so sorry Mr. & Mrs. Kooi, Madison & Missy. I always was pulling for Dani. My mom adored her & got to know her the last few years. I was always so happy to her when she was doing well.
