Pauline Kyle Obituary

PAULINE E. KYLE (NEE FISCHER) Pauline “Pony” E. Kyle (nee Fischer), age 89, died September 22, 2013. She was adopted by Paul and Martha Fischer of Hammond and was married to Frank A. Kyle. Pauline was a graduate of Hammond High School and Indiana University Northwest with a B.S. in sociology in 1982. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church, Lake Court House Foundation, League of Women Voters, Crown Point Garden Club, Questers Antique Club, and the Riley Homemakers. Pauline served as a docent for the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra and as a special advocate for the Lake County Office of Guardian Ad Litem. Pauline is survived by four sons: Frank, Robert, Bruce, and Steve; a daughter, Sarah; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials to First United Methodist Church or the Lake Court House Foundation. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 352 S. Main Street, Crown Point. www.burnsfuneral.com
