He is survived by his children: Todd (Stacy) Peres and Tammy (Patrick) Bredar, both of FL; grandchildren: Brady Bredar, Christopher Mortimer, Madelynne and Noelani Peres, great grandchildren, Taylor and Ryan Mortimer, brother, Bill and niece and nephew, Abigail Jenkins and Chris Clawson. Tom was a member of Lowell First United Methodist Church where he was on the Staff Parrish, a retired Pipefitter with Local #597, former owner of Lake County Auto Parts and Tom Clawson Motors and member of Lowell American Legion Post #101 and Schererville McKinley Masonic Lodge. Visitation, Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 604 E. Commercial Ave., Lowell, with Funeral Services, Friday, 11:00 a.m. at his church, 520 E. LOIS A. CAPPELLO (nee FRIGO) DYER, IN Lois A. Cappello (nee Frigo), age 82, of Dyer, Indiana passed away August 18, 2016. She is survived by her cherished daughters: Laine (Michael) Kerwin and LaRae (Joy) Cappello; adored grandchildren: Brian (Tiffany), Daniel (Traci) and Brittany Kerwin; precious great-grandchildren: Skylar, Jaxon and Zachery; numerous dear nieces and nephews. Loving father of Sophia A. Cazares, Carmen S. Cazares and Lucia D. Cazares. Cherished grandfather of Desiree E. Cazares, late Divina C. Torres and late Romelio A. Rosario. Dear son of the late Jesus and late Flora Cazares. Dear brother of Jesse (Rose) Cazares, Yolanda Cazares, late Joyce Cazares, late Flora Wesche, Nancy Cazares, late Atanacio Cazares, late Frances Cazares and Joseph Cazares. Claypool, Jeannine I.  
JEANNINE I. CLAYPOOL KOUTS, IN Jeannine I. Claypool, 85, of Kouts passed away Monday, August 22, 2016. She was born October 29, 1930 in Valparaiso to Charles and Florence (Gustafson) Gilliland and graduated from Valparaiso High School. Jeannine served as Office Manager for many years for Dr. Robert Koenig. She was a lifelong fisherman who loved the family trips to Minnesota teaching her sons how to catch walleye. On May 17, 1947 she married William Claypool who preceded her in death in 2005. Survivors include their sons: W. Robert (Barbara) Claypool of Valparaiso, Rod Claypool of Kouts, Jon (Irene) Claypool of California, daughter- in-law, Barb Claypool of Valparaiso; grandchildren: Chad, Ann, Sara, Mike, Shawn, Nicholas, Jennifer and Christy; 13 great grandchildren and "Rusty" her constant canine companion. She was also preceded in death by her son, James in 2011 and two sisters: Lillian Swenson and Marjorie Mitchell. A visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kosanke Funeral Home , 105 Indiana Ave., Kouts. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Graceland Cemetery, Kouts. Memorial donations may be made to VNA Hospice.

Corrigan, Barbara Y.  
BARBARA Y. CORRIGAN TRAVERSE CITY, MI Barbara Y. Corrigan, 75 of Traverse City, MI passed away August 22, 2016 at Munson Medical Center. Barbara was born on April 21, 1941 in Gary, IN to the late Bancroft and Louise (Tittle) Yarrington. Barbara graduated from Horace Mann High School. She then attended Lake Forest College in Illinois and later received her Bachelor's in Education from Indiana University. She taught first grade for many years, first at Vohr School in Gary, IN and later at Griffith School in Griffith, IN. Barbara and William C. Corrigan were married on July 15, 1972 in Gary, IN. He fell in love with her beautiful smile and caring nature. Together they raised two daughters in Crown Point, IN and later moved to Valpariso, IN and finally retired to Northern Michigan which was a favorite vacation destination. In her younger years, Barbara loved to bowl. Recently, she enjoyed spending time with friends and catalog shopping. She had the unique ability to strike up a conversation with anyone and would almost always develop a nice relationship with them. She also liked to go shopping with her daughters and friends. Barbara was active in her church communities and taught Sunday School for both children and adults. She will be greatly missed. Barbara is survived by her husband of 44 years William; daughter Susan Corrigan Mark of Chicago, daughter, Julie (Brandon) Corrigan Wert of Hebron, IN; grandchildren: Oliver William Mark, Haley Wert and Hunter Wert; sister- in-law Nancy (Forest) Cox; nephew Dave (Tina) Yarrington and niece Darcy (Roger) Kincade. Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved brother Webb. The funeral will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Katherine Coombs will lead the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
